As an everyday carry (EDC) Flashlight, it delivers long-lasting performance, functionality, and a lifetime warranty to ensure you always have the Tradesman when you need it. You can use the light’s magnetic tailcap to stick the Tradesman onto any ferrous metal surface to brighten your view. After just one use, you can tell the Tradesman M6G2 offers uncompromised power in a compact body, and at 2,030 lumens, it is one of the brightest and top-rated lights available today. This flashlight is perfect for mechanics, military members, and law enforcement officials looking to bolster their professional lighting capabilities.
2,030 Lumens Of Bright Utility
The M6-GEN3 Tradesman is designed as a rechargeable flashlight for easy charging and utility. With a 2,030 Lumen output, this torch easily lights up rooms and illuminates dark corridors with long-range and wide-reach brightness. The M6’s remarkable 330 meter throw makes it a breeze to shine a light on hard-to-see objects at the end of a long driveway or wooded trail at night, or to light up the way while taking a stroll in dark areas downtown. The Powertac Tradesman M6-GEN3 provides a one-button activation system that combines on/off functions and mode outputs for an intuitive user interface you can simply pick up and use.
Durable And Innovative
The Tradesman M6-GEN3 reverse polarity protection helps protect the flashlight from improper battery installation hazards, and it preserves the LED and its electronic components with a superior heat sink designed for quick heat dispersion to keep the light cool even during extended use. Made with aircraft grade aluminum with a type III anodized finish, the Tradesman's tempered glass is engineered to resist breaking and scratching, and its double-coated glass lens ensures maximum OTF (Out The Front) brightness and beam distance so you can always bring light and clarity in the dark.
Magnetic Charging, Magnetic Tailcap
Powertac’s all-new magnetic charging design is incorporated in the Tradesman M6-GEN3 so you can save time in a cost effective way that reduces impact on the environment. Simply attach the magnetic charging cable to recharge the Tradesman quickly; the low battery indicator will produce a red light when low on power and a blue one when the battery is fully charged and ready to go. Additionally, the M6’s magnetic tail cap is simple to attach to any ferrous metal surface for immediate hands-free lighting that bolsters visibility for any kind of work.

my response
hi I am very happy with this product
Power in a small form light
A powerful quality build flashlight in a lightweight form
No rear button - hard to call it “tactical”
It’s a bit disingenuous to call it a “tactical” flashlight for military and law enforcement when it doesn’t have a thumb switch in the rear.
The best EDC flashlights!
I have three of the powertac flashlights. Two of the M6 and one E9R-G4. The E9R-G4 I have had for two years and has worked flawlessly and I do carry it everyday. Simply the best!
FLASHLIGHTS FOR THE KIDS
My kids are always borrowing my Powertac Warrior that I've had at least 15 years. It's been dropped countless times at work from elevated platforms onto concrete 30 ft below and still works like a charm and still has the original battery. SO...I trust it enough to get each of my kids a smaller and lighter flashlight for their own. They were very happy when they got them and just in time for one of them to take to camp. I also like that it has magnetic recharging which avoids any wear from plugin types or a base that takes up counter space.
Robert's Review
I love this item, it is very po ket sized and easy to carry, use. So far have no problems with this light, It is bright enough to see in the darkness of the night, works great as a Everyday EDC light.
Great light with long battery life
Small and powerfull. Perfect choice as daily carry. 2nd purchase because the first was a gift and we both love this light.
M-6 Gen3
Good, I liked its compact size. The illumination was very good. And I really liked the magnetic cap. It allows you to mount the light at different levels.
Tradesman M^-GEN3
GReat flashligh. I ave many PowerTac flashlights. I have not bought one in a while but I saw this one and had to try it. It is a great flashlight. Thanks!!!
I prefer the M5 series..
The only difference I feel with the M6 is the magnetic base? I have 2..M5 flashlights and I feel the lumens are stronger than the M6. I have a total of 5 Powertac flashlights. I really think these are the best on the market. The quality is outstanding! I'm just a little bit disappointed in the M6 offering. I would highly recommend the M5 unit!
Powerful EDC light
At first, I thought what a dim light, but then, I read the directions on all the things this light can do. It has several beams that go from dim to very bright. The way you hook up the charger is one of the best features, plus size and durability. No one could break this light. Very well made and strong. I myself prefer to carry the Tradesman in a case on my belt (Sold separately), but it does have a place for a lanyard and comes with a clip (as shown). A great size for EDC (Everyday Carry).
Totally worth it
This little light is surprisingly bright for its size. Already shown it to a couple of friends. Don’t know if they bought one yet but I know one got the website info. And fits in your pocket. Can’t go wrong with the light or the company. I have 4 different lights from these guys. Nothing but top top shelf quality.
Great little flashlight
It’s bright small rechargeable and the magnetic end works great I recommend it to every service tech and bldg engineer I know
A lot of flashlight for such a little price tag
I’ve been using PowerTac lights for a long time and love them. I bought this one mainly for the magnetic tail cap. It puts out way more light than my old Hero models and the magnet tail sticks to metal like it’s welded. As always with PowerTac—BIG bang for small bucks!
M6G3
I have only had the light a couple of days. It appears to be a very fine unit, similar to my M5 which I've had for a few months. The controls are different on the M6 (versus the M5) since the M6 has a magnet in the tail cap whereas the M5 has a switch in the tail cap. However both work well. I'm happy with them.
